Another Former IPG Media Exec Signs On With Dentsu Aegis

Tajer was global CEO of Mediabrands from 2015 until his departure in May of 2017. His move to Dentsu Aegis is somewhat of a surprise given that he had just joined Amazon as head of media services for the ecommerce giant’s ANZ region about five months ago.

Nick Waters, CEO of Dentsu Aegis’ Asia Pacific region issued a statement:  “I am delighted to bring Henry into the group. We have a large and diverse business across Australia and New Zealand which requires the high caliber leadership that Henry will provide.”

Tajer is just the latest of a handful of former top IPG media executives to join DAN. Nick Brien who ran Mediabrands for several years before being tapped to run McCann in 2010, is now CEO Americas.
