Changing Of The Guard At Fallon

Rocky Novak has been promoted to chief executive officer of Fallon Worldwide, overseeing the creative agency's Minneapolis and New York offices.

Novak succeeds Mike Buchner, a 35-year veteran of the agency who served in the CEO role since 2011. He’ll now serve as chairman.

"Rocky has a modern marketer's skillset and has earned the trust of both our clients and employees alike while serving as our Managing Director the past several years," stated Buchner. "

As managing director of the Minneapolis office, Novak is credited with refocusing agency capabilities embedding media, digital and production within its creative infrastructure. He’s been at Fallon since 2002.

Fallon was founded in 1981 and acquired by Publicis Groupe in 2000. After stepping down in 2008 as CEO, legendary founder Pat Fallon remained involved with the agency until his death at 70 in 2015.

The agency’s clients include Anheuser-Busch, Arby's, Hotwire, Culligan Water, Danone and Massage Envy.
