Catherine Levene, who was named Meredith Corp’s Chief Strategy Officer earlier this year, has been promoted to president and Chief Digital Officer of the company’s National Media Group.
Levene will take her new post on April 1, succeeding Stan Pavlovsky.
As president and CDO, Levene will oversee all digital content and products, strategy, sales and operations across the National Media Group, working closely with Alysia Borsa, Chief Data and Marketing Officer.
Jon Werther, president of National Media Group, stated the company was "fortunate to have someone with Catherine's level of digital experience on staff," noting she would build on a "strong foundation."
Levene has spent her career in media, digital media and ecommerce, working extensively with boards and CEOs, setting strategy, implementing business plans and directing M&A activities.
Previously, she worked in digital executive positions at The New York Times and Daily Candy, among others. She has also held board positions at private digital companies, such as Rent the Runway and TheFind.
Currently, Levene is an advisory board member of theSkimm.
