Newsquest has won a GBP345,000 grant from Google to develop a platform through which local people can submit, what it is calling, "ready for publication" stories.
Press Gazette writes that
the budget handed over by Google is part of a GBP130m pot the tech giant has set aside to support digital news gathering projects over the next three years.
