250ok Upgrades Email Design Tool To Improve Mobile Rendering

250ok has enhanced its 250ok Design tool to help marketers test and visualize their marketing emails for smartphones.

The company found in a study last year that 40% of consumers who read emails on their phones say the messages are not well designed for those devices.

“The current design tools on the market left a lot to be desired,” states Alex Griffis, senior vice president of product at 250ok.

In response, the company added functions to its existing Design product, which are available now to customers with Design access.

The new features include:

  • Priority Weighting — This allows users to see which devices and email clients are most important to recipients, based on a pairing of pairs 250ok Analytics and 250ok Design.
  • Gmail Annotation Previewer — A tool that lets marketers use and preview the new Gmail tool — Gmail Annotations.
  • BIMI Wizard— BIMI is Brand Indicators or Message Identification, an email authentication standard that lets users display their logo in an email subject line. The Wizard helps brands adjust their DMARC policy and implement the additional touchpoint.
  • Subject line Previewer — This tool renders subject lines, emojis, preheaders and preview texts across 20 clients and devices. The goal is to avoid errors and ensure that the message is delivered as the marketer intends.
