Former agency leader Donny Deutsch received a little dose of impotent Trumpian Twitter rage over the weekend after calling him a “criminal” on MSNBC late last month.

On the MSNBC program Morning Joe, Deutsch, a regular on the show, called for Democrats to excise the word impeachment from any strategy to derail the president and instead “make it about the ongoing Trump criminal investigations … taxes, philanthropy, the [U.S.] Southern District [Court investigation].”

Ever the adman, Deutsch described the strategy as a “branding” maneuver that would build the public support needed to proceed with the impeachment process.But no impeachment talk for now, he stressed.

On Saturday, Trump tweeted that Deutsch was a “total loser” who used to “BEG me to be on episodes of The Apprentice.” Wow, what a comeback. The man has such a way with words, doesn’t he?

“When he makes statements about me, they are made up, he knows nothing!” the Trump rant continued.

Well Donny, congratulations. Looks like you’re the new “nasty” person in Trump’s life. Or at least you were for a brief moment on Saturday. Maybe you should run for office.
