The Bank of England has announced that the next face on the GBP50 note will be code-breaker, and some might argue, the father of modern computing, Alan Turing. The BBC reports the new note will be in
circulation by the end of 2021 when the Bank will have moved on to issuing polymer, rather than paper, notes.
