Remling, Cecere Take On New HR Roles at GroupM, WPP

GroupM, WPP’s media investment group, has named Jennifer Remling Global Chief People Officer. She succeeds talent chief Tim Cecere, who is shifting to a new WPP role, global head of people transformation.

Remling is the first leadership appointment by GroupM’s incoming global CEO, Christian Juhl. The two worked together at Essence, where Remling has been Chief Talent Officer and Juhl CEO.

Earlier, Remling held roles at R/GA, AKQA and 360i.

Remling will report to both Juhl and Jacqui Canney, WPP’s Global Chief People Officer.

In his new role, Cecere is tasked with devising ways to leverage enterprise technologies to support the career advancement and working lives of WPP’s people, among other duties. He reports to Canney.

Cecere has been with GroupM since 2003. Previously, he served as human resources manager at Ogilvy.
