'The Guardian' Joins Reuters Connect Platform

The Guardian is joining Reuters Connect to give customers of the platform access to original video content.

The Guardian’s video will include global video stories with a U.K. focus, including news explainers and deep-dive features on a variety of compelling subjects, according to the company.

Video will also feature interviews with well-known Guardian reporters.

“Reuters’ partnership with The Guardian aims to satisfy an ever-increasing demand for real-life, human-interest news stories,” stated Justine Flatley, senior manager of content partnerships at the Reuters News Agency.

In August, Reuters announced Stringr, Amper Music and InVideo would provide more productivity tools to publishers that use the Reuters Connect platform. Last week, Esportz became a Reuters Connect platform partner to provide video content on esports.
