Through a partnership slated to last through 2020, Prevention magazine and the Global Wellness Institute are bringing The Wellness Moonshot Calendar: A year of inspiration to
readers of the health-focused publication.
Each month, Prevention will feature a full-page tied to that month’s theme in The Wellness Moonshot Calendar. The calendar, which will appear in print and digital editions of the magazine, will focus on the eradication of preventable, chronic diseases.
January’s theme explores aspects of cultivating personal well-being with “emerge,” while February’s theme “include,” focuses on the joy related to embracing wholeness at work and home.
Each month's tips and articles are curated by Renee Moorefield, CEO of Wisdom Works.

Sarah Smith, content director, Prevention, stated: “Our readers are looking for the science behind wellness and inspiration to lead healthy, happy lives, so we are eager to share each month’s Moonshot theme with them. My hope is that we’ll continue to build a community of people committed to personal and global health.”
The Wellness Moonshot Calendar was created and designed by Jessica Jesse, CEO of BuDhaGirl. It is inspired by the cycles of the moon and the best times to cultivate new ideas and habits, based on the energy it emits. Her 2020 calendar takes its creative cues from nature.
“The Wellness Moonshot Calendar’s impact is growing exponentially.
Last year, our focus was on wellness in the workplace, where we engaged with the leaders of over 350 businesses and organizations reaching over 500,000 individuals to get them to commit to healthier work cultures,” says Susie Ellis, GWI chairman-CEO.
Through its partnership with Prevention, the GWI and its calendar will reach more than 13 million people each month.
