is expanding its reach via its TripAdvisor Connect media solution on Facebook and Instagram.
TripAdvisor Connect is a media solution guided by traveler and diner data that enables advertisers to reach custom audiences outside of the company’s website and app.
Through the @TripAdvisor brand on social-media channels, advertisers can catch the attention of targeted and engaged audiences.
Advertisers have access to a portfolio of multimedia creative solutions that allows them to build brand awareness with TripAdvisor’s audience.
TripAdvisor counts 10 million followers across social sites like Facebook and Instagram.
The launch follows TripAdvisor’s hiring of Christine Maguire, the company’s new vice president of advertising revenue, who joined from Conde Nast. She arrives as the company looks to branch out beyond tourism and grow its media and ad business.
Maguire leads the launch of TripAdvisor Connect.
“We continue to innovate new ways for advertisers to leverage TripAdvisor's global data and trusted brand through new creative formats that deliver audience at scale — either on their own website or app, or to their TripAdvisor business listing,” Maguire stated.
