Carat USA has promoted Angela Steele to CEO, succeeding Michael Epstein who was promoted to global CEO of the Dentsu Aegis Network unit earlier this year.

Steele, who was inducted as a MediaPost All Star last year, most recently served as Carat's Chief Strategy Officer.

A 20-plus year ad industry veteran, Steele joined Carat from parent Dentsu Aegis, where she had been global product lead on the General Motors account.

Prior to joining DAN, Steele served as CEO at Ansible, Interpublic Group's mobile agency
