Consumers Alerted About Email Gift Card Scam

Ohio residents are being warned about a phishing scam in which they are asked to purchase retail gift cards. The Kenton County Sheriff’s office says employees at a local government agency received emails from an out-of-office supervisor urging them to buy the cards.
