JetBlue is bringing more customization options to its relaunched vacation packages, according to the airline.

JetBlue Travel Products, a subsidiary of JetBlue, is adding new benefits focused on giving customers convenience and more personalized service.

The company joins other major airlines including Delta and United in offering the option of building complete vacations for a discount. The company has set up a dedicated web site detailing offerings.

New additions to the portfolio include the Very Important Perks and the Insider Experience programs. Packages now also include additional benefits such as no JetBlue change fees, earlier boarding on flights, a free inflight alcoholic drink and access to 24/7 support.

Through Very Important Perks, JetBlue Vacations partners with select top hotels to offer customers exclusive benefits.

Perks such as room and restaurant discounts, resort credits, free airport transfers, complimentary mini-bar access and guaranteed late checkout are available on jetbluevacations.com at hotels highlighted with the Very Important Perks flag.

Perks vary by property and were developed based on customer feedback. Some of the hotel chains participating in the perks program include Marriott, Walt Disney World, Hilton, Sandals and RIU Hotels and Resorts.

The Insider Experience, currently included in all JetBlue Vacations packages for Aruba and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, is a new in-destination offering that puts customers in touch with local experts to assist them throughout their journey at no additional charge. It includes benefits like complimentary airport transfers.

The Insider Experience will soon be available in Cancun and more destinations later this year, according to the airline.

Insiders are from well-established destination management companies who have participated in dedicated Insider and JetBlue training

The Insider Experience also features pre- and post-trip assistance via WhatsApp or phone for help booking tours, activities or restaurant reservations.

Finally, a Vacations Customer Assurance Team will proactively reach out when issues arise, including travel interruptions due to major weather events like hurricanes.
