Media agency Wavemaker, part of WPP's GroupM, has appointed Kaya Heitman (née Lobaczewski) managing partner, head of marketing and communications, U.S.

Reporting to U.S. CEO, Amanda Richman, she will lead the U.S team responsible for communicating Wavemaker’s brand story via internal and external communications and marketing initiatives. She is based at the agency’s New York City office.

Heitman previously served at communications and advisory services firm Daddi Brand Communications (DBC), where she was senior vice president. Earlier she served at both DDB Group and then Horizon Media where she led communications.
