White House Asks Tech Giants To Help Fight coronavirus

As the federal government struggles to contain the coronavirus virus, the Trump administration is asking tech company to help curb the spread of related misinformation. The companies include Facebook, Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, IBM and Twitter, Politico reports. “The tech industry has been taking steps in recent weeks to deal with the outbreak, such as highlighting reliable sources for information on the virus and removing misinformation.”
