With the coronavirus keeping whole families at home for the duration, Amazon is opening free streaming of more than 40 kids’ shows to all of its customers worldwide.
By offering some of its kids’ content previously available free only to Prime Video members, Amazon hopes to engender goodwill and win new paid members by letting them sample Prime Video content.
To access the content, now hosted on a dedicated landing page, consumers need to have a free, valid Amazon accountand use it to sign in.
The kids’ titles available vary by country/region. In the U.S., the selection includes PBS Kids series such as “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,” “Arthur” and “Bali”; and Amazon Originals such as “Pete the Cat,” “The Stinky Dirty Show,” and “Costume Quest.”
