Blueprint, a Whatsapp and SMS e-commerce startup based in the UK, has snared €1.1 million in a seed round led by Magnus Rausing’s MAHR Projects.

Also participating in the round were Founders Factory and Hambro Perks, according to EU Startups.

Founded in 2019, Blueprint will use the funds to develop its conversational commerce platform, the company says.

The company is “blurring the lines between conversation and commerce to create a modern purchasing experience,” states Blueprint CEO Harvey Hodd.

Hodd says “consumers have become fatigued with long-term, fixed subscription services that don’t offer them flexibility in purchasing.”
