Facebook is expanding the availability of its Messenger Kids service to 75 additional countries, in what Engadget calls “an effort to provide children a way to connect with friends and family in
the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.” Already available in the U.S. and other major markets, “The 13-and-under version of the social network’s messaging app allows parents to
control their children’s activities and keep them safe from strangers on the website.”
