Sonos cofounder John MacFarlane just took a shot at Spotify CEO Daniel Ek in response to Ek’s bashing of Apple and its “closed ecosystem,” Business Insider reports. Spotify is
“significantly more difficult to work within Spotify’s ‘closed’ ecosystem than Apple’s,” MacFarlane said this week. “Respect and appreciate both companies,
but ‘open’ Spotify is not,” he added.
