An Australian court has ruled that newspapers and TV stations that post their own articles on Facebook are now liable for defamatory comments on those posts,
The Wall Street Journal reports.
“That means, it ruled Monday, that the companies should be considered publishers of the comments, responsible for their content,” it writes. Defendants in the original lawsuit included
News Corp Australia.
