SendtoNews Joins IRIS.TV Video Marketplace

Digital video distribution and monetization platform SendtoNews will be integrated with IRIS.TV’s Contextual Video Marketplace.

STN’s online video platform will be contextually segmented by data providers, including Oracle Data Cloud, Comscore, GumGum, and Spectrum Media Services.

With this new integration, marketers can target over 1 billion monthly video views across STN’s video platform, according to the companies.

SendtoNews provides an AI-powered video player that scans a publisher's article and embeds relevant video in its library into the article.

The platform can also monetize the video views and share revenue with the publisher.

Video content comes from more than 100 STN partners, including the Associated Press, Bloomberg, Conde Nast, MLB and the NFL.

STN works with 1,800+ digital publishers, including New York Post, Houston Chronicle, USA Today and companies like Hearst, Gannett, Tribune and McClatchy, according to the company.

In March, STN developed a video player with a playlist dedicated to providing coronavirus video coverage.

IRIS.TV launched its Contextual Video Marketplace in 2018 with the goal of simplifying the video ecosystem. It combines publishers, contextual data partners, ad servers and SSPs to package video content for advertisers.
