Digital media veteran Matt Wasserlauf is introducing the
first ad campaign from his newly formed Blockboard, a digital distribution platform service that utilizes blockchain technology to distribute videos.
Client Henkel has developed a
webisode series as part of the company’s “Ask Team Clean” campaign.
The “At Home With Jennifer” show — produced, directed and hosted by Jennifer Pate
— focuses on one topic per episode, such as chores, as she intermixes interviews with a group of diverse women about their strategies during the pandemic.
Henkel brands, including
Persil, Purex, Snuggle, and Renuzit, are offered as solutions and prominently featured during the five-minute clips. Sample the work here.
Henkel
has signed on for the first three episodes of this new series. They run on the company’s social channels, website and OTT channels. There are 11 additional episodes available for brand
sponsorship, though Henkel is currently in discussion to sign on for additional episodes.

As advertisers continue to shift their attention towards OTT and non-linear television, Wasserlauf
created Blockboard to bring better trust, full transparency and verification in this shifting advertising landscape. His platform is designed to marry brands and advertisers with “quality”
inventory under branded integration deals which are then validated against blockchain with fully verifiable results.
The company also offers targeting, and data and analytics services and
reporting dashboard.
Some of the other content programs on the Blockboard lineup include: “Digital Diaries-Quarantine Edition,” “#AlumniChallenge: Race to Home,” and
“American Health Journal: The American Table.”
