CPB is attempting to
regain its mojo with a new strategic plan that includes moving from Boulder, CO to nearby Denver. The MDC Partners agency has also appointed Jorge Calleja Chief Creative Officer.
CPB is also currently searching for a Chief Strategy Officer as it lays the foundation for a transformative year ahead.
In July 2021, CPB will move into a new 20,000 square-foot office space currently under construction in the McGregor Square development adjacent to Coors Field
in downtown Denver.
This relocation puts the new office about 30 minutes to the south of its longtime home in Boulder. Many of its staff already
live in Denver, commuting to Boulder.

Although MDC Partners has reorganized many of its agency operations, this decision was driven by CPB leaders
who recognize recruiting may be easier in the larger city.
“There are lots of great memories and 14 years of CPB history in Boulder, but our
future lies in Denver,” says Ryan Skubic, managing director, CPB. “Denver’s diversity and vibrant culture complement our ambitions.” He believes this move will “make life
easier and more enjoyable for everyone at CPB and their partners.”
Meanwhile, CCO Calleja will work alongside Skubic and Global CEO Erik
Sollenberg to drive the agency’s transformation. Calleja has spent the past two years at Activision Blizzard as VP marketing and ECD of esports.
He also has worked as an ECD at Deutsch LA, TBWA’s dedicated Apple agency, Media Arts Lab and the Martin Agency. He spent seven years in Amsterdam working
at Wieden+Kennedy as global CD.
These three leaders will be joined by Jacqueline Redmond who is upped to director of account management. For the past
four years, she has led several brand partnerships as group account director.
