GroupM's Amanda Richman is moving from Wavemaker to Mindshare, where she becomes CEO of North America, filling a role that was held by Adam Gerhart, who was named Mindshare Global CEO in December.
Richman, who has served as U.S. CEO of Wavemaker, joined the GroupM agency in 2017, following a long career in senior media positions at Publicis and Interpublic.
Louisa Wong, who joined Wavemaker as Americas CEO in 2020 from Carat, will continue overseeing the agency's U.S. operation as part of that role.
On Monday, Wavemaker coincidentally announced the addition of two new C-suite executives as part of her management team (see related story).
In 2009, MediaPost inducted Richman as a media "All Star."
