Horizon Media has promoted Phil Mitchell to executive vice president, managing partner.  

Mitchell, a nearly 30-year industry veteran, joined Horizon Media in 2012 as a senior vice president with a focus on business performance and innovating how to plan, measure, and optimize digital media. 

In this new role, Mitchell will oversee the development of financial services clients as well as building new client relationships, strategic leadership, and team development. 

“Phil was an early adopter to what was the nascent world of digital marketing and quickly developed a passion for growing the adoption of digital media in all its varied forms,” stated Coleen Kuehn EVP, Chief Business Solutions Officer. “Over the past nine years, he’s proven to be a brilliant media strategist and an exemplary team leader.”   

Mitchell earlier served at Neo@Ogilvy, Grey and Euro-RSCG.
