Second Generation Takes Creative Helm At Laughlin Constable

Steve Laughlin founded ad agency Laughlin Constable 45 years ago and remains executive chairman of the agency’s advisory board.

Now his sons Jon and Pat Laughlin are taking the creative helm of the agency, which has offices in Chicago and Milwaukee, as Co-Chief Creative Officers.

John Maxham, who held the CCO position at the agency for the last two years and helped mentor the Laughlin brothers, is departing the agency to pursue a new opportunity.

“For ten years, Jon and Pat have been part of our creative leadership team and as a result, I have continually seen leaps forward in our creative output,” said agency president and CEO Mat Lignel. “Under their leadership, we will continue to push innovative and creative boundaries to meet the needs of our clients.”

The agency has billings of more than $280 million with clients including Yuengling, ASPCA, Northwestern Medicine, Hoosier Lottery and Master Lock.
