New Tool Helps Firms Use Sensitive Data, Company Says

Privacy platform SkyPoint Cloud has introduced an AI-driven system that it says will help firms utilize sensitive data, including personally identifiable information (PII), payment card information (PCI) and healthcare records.

The new tool, SkyPoint Vault, “isolates and secures sensitive data in a zero-trust vault that integrates with your applications with a simple API or SQL,” says Tisson Mathew, CEO and founder of SkyPoint.

SkyPoint Vault uses de-identification and homomorphic encryption, data breach prevention, tokenization, data masking and differential redaction to achieve these ends, the company says.

Q5ID, Inc., the firm’s newest customer, is using SkyPoint’s Vault technology to locate missing persons using its new Guardian app.
