Carat U.S. Names Pineiro, Zaim Client Presidents

Christine Piñeiro and Adil Zaim have both been named client presidents, new positions at Dentsu International's Carat U.S.

Both were executive vice presidents of the agency based in New York. They report to U.S. CEO Mike Law.

Piñeiro joined Carat in 2004 from media supervisor at Omnicom's OMD and began her career in the same position at Omnicom's BBDO.

Zaim assumed his most recent role in 2016 after serving as CEO of Carat China for four years.

He previously was executive vice president of then Carat parent Aegis Media in China, after working as a business director in China for IPG Mediabrands' Initiative and UM units.

Strange new titles, Joe. I suppose that "CEO" trumps "president" in this new set up. I wonder how that old standby---vice president---ranks these days---unless its reserved only for janitors and media trainees.

@Ed Papazian: So long as the new setup doesn't involve a trump "CEO" being "president."

    A sobering thought, Joe.
