used from 1937-2019 — has been known as the Washington Football Team since July 2020. “Our journey to a new identity is a marathon not a sprint,” the team said in a teaser posted to
social media. “To get it right, we had to take every step of the process seriously, And the destination is the sum of all those parts.”
