
Wurl, a leading OTT advertising platform for streaming TV, hired
Gina Ive in the new role of senior director, U.S. advertising. She is responsible for building its U.S. ad strategy, expanding the product line and increasing client development in the CTV and FAST
(free ad-supported TV) marketplace.
She reports to Kris Johns, vice president of advertising.
Previously, she worked at Magnite, where she headed West Coast brand development and
oversaw CTV growth in various verticals including tech/telco, entertainment, and political. Ive has 10+ years of digital media experience.
"As Wurl continues to innovate the CTV monetization
model, Gina's specialized experience will help leverage and expand on the company's advertising strategy," said Johns.
Wurl interconnects more than 1,200 streaming channels and
streamers, reaching over 300 million connected TVs in 50 countries. A+E Networks, AMC Networks, BBC Studios, Bloomberg, CNN, Reuters and Sony utilize the Wurl platform.
