Eric Schmidt Sounds Alarm On China's Strategy

Former Google Chairman Eric Schmidt warned against China's readiness to surpass the United States in technology to "dominate critical fields, from semiconductors to AI, and clean energy to biotech," while the U.S. has been slow to formulate a response or take action. Schmidt was on Capitol Hill this week making his case that the U.S. should create a national academy to train tech workers who would work in a civilian capacity for the federal government for five years in return for their education.
