Yamamoto Taps Weaver For Brand Strategy, Cultural Insights Role

Minneapolis-based advertising agency Yamamoto has hired David Weaver for the newly created position of brand strategy & cultural insights director. He will be based in Burlington, Vermont. Prior to joining Yamamoto, Weaver was managing director at Cheil USA in New York City. He also founded Heresy, a strategic planning consultancy in Seattle, and he served as executive vice president/creative & strategy at Barkley in Kansas City. He also served as COO of Orton Family Foundation and was the founder of AccessCMO, helping entrepreneurs and growing businesses with marketing challenges.
