Target 'Deal Days' Challenges Amazon

Target is bringing back its “Deal Days” July 11-13 and once again competing with Amazon’s Prime Days. Last year, Target held Deal Days from June 20-22, extending on Prime Day’s June 21-22 dates. “Deal Days comes as Target aims to right-size its inventory assortment in the second quarter, which will include tactics such as markdowns, order cancellations and taking a more conservative approach to buying home goods,” per Sourcing Journal.
