
Wavemaker namedDavida Arnold group director of
marketing & communications for The Americas (the U.S. Canada and Latin America).
Arnold, who reports to Americas CEO Louisa Wong, previously was a freelance writer at Magic
Treehouse Studios, but has held communications, content and strategy positions at NEO Philanthropy, Color of Change, SHE Media, and Meredith Corp.
She succeeds Kaya Heitman, who earlier this year moved to executive director of U.S.
communications for parent GroupM.
“Davida is exactly the Wavemaker we need to help us fearlessly grow with purpose,” Wong said in a statement announcing her appointment.
“It has been a very exciting two years for the U.S. market, and Davida’s expertise and mastery of storytelling and tactical marketing will support us as we let the world know about our
consistent successes.”
