As Chief Talent Officer, Shannon McFarland will
partner with FCB Chicago CEO Kelly Graves to attract top talent that sustains the agency’s strategic vision.
Graves said McFarland had a "people-first mentality" that will have a strong
impact on clients and company culture.
Previously, McFarland was SVP, head of human resources at rEvolution, a global sports-marketing agency. She has also worked at various agencies, such as
Leo Burnett and Mindshare.
Farland said she was drawn to FCB because of its “Never Finished” ethos.
“I love the ambition that it signals, always aiming to push
higher,” said McFarland. “This aligns with my values and my philosophy around the employee experience — ensuring employees are never finished growing, both personally and
professionally, is my No. 1 priority.”
At the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity this year, FCB was named “North America Network of the Year” for the fourth consecutive
year.
In the Cannes Creative Effectiveness Lions, the Grand Prix winner, "Contract for Change" by FCB Chicago for Michelob Ultra, was chosen given the impact it had across the food-and-beverage
industry.
