Colle McVoy Becomes Another Star In Stagwell's Constellation

Stagwell has added Minneapolis-based Colle McVoy to its agency group known as Constellation.

The Constellation Group was formed in early 2020 after Stagwell Founder Mark Penn had taken over as CEO of MDC Partners and was reorganizing the company.

Other agency groups were formed within the company at around the same time including units led by Doner and Anomaly. The main idea was to capitalize on different strengths and synergies within each group of agencies in a bid to better serve clients.

In June Justin Lewis, co-founder and CEO of digital specialist Instrument became Chair of Constellation and John Boiler shifted to the role of Creative Chair at the group. (Instrument President Kara Place was elevated to CEO of Instrument.)

In addition to Instrument, The Constellation division includes creative shop 72andSunny, brand strategy and design agency Red Scout and content creator Hecho Studios. The Harris Poll, purpose-focused creative agency Brand Citizens and experiential agency Team Enterprises are also part of the group. And now so is Colle McVoy, which has partnered with several agencies within the group on a number of projects over the past couple of years. CPB had been a part of the group as well but was realigned with the Stagwell Media Network earlier this year.

“Constellation agencies align and excel at providing disruptive business solutions, so our newest star, Colle McVoy, will augment and expand our creative, design, media and public relations resources for seamlessly integrated, growth-driving results,” said Justin Lewis, chair of Constellation.

Christine Fruechte is CEO of Colle McVoy and its branded practices 10 Thousand Design and Exponent PR.
