Marketing agency Boathouse Group has been selected by Boston development firm Cronin Group to provide earned media and social engagement strategy services.

Cronin is currently in the middle of a Boston waterfront revitalization project. 

Boathouse recently expanded to Washington, DC and Palo Alto, CA, with a focus on strategic communications, public relations and digital marketing.  

Those moves followed the appointment earlier this year of Peter Prodromou as founder and president of the agency’s strategic communications unit. He’s also leading the West Coast expansion. 

The company also added Deloitte veteran Geoff Gates as creative director of social strategy and content.
