A man makes a meat pie for a Christmas get-together in this spot for Coca-Cola that features a heartwarming twist.

In the ad, via Grey, a man consults an old recipe. Then his mother appears and watches while he shops, cuts vegetables and makes the pie crust. The mother looks on as he adds spices and attempts to finish the pie.

In the final shot, he brings the pie to the table as his mother looks on, smiling. Then we realize that the mother is no longer with us – she’s featured in a painting on the wall.

The ad contains no dialogue so it can be used in various different markets. It is part of Coke’s first ever Christmas Anthology film series, which was made with Imagine Entertainment and Amazon.
