Despite inspiring at least 10 movies, Friday the 13^th  hasn’t been a big deal for fast-food restaurants.

But Wendy’s is now offering free fries on “Fry-Day the 13^th.” The chain is offering a free side of fries with any purchase made through its mobile app.

If you can’t make it on the 13^th though, don’t despair: The deal runs through Jan. 19.

Wendy’s is also offering other deals this month, including:

• A free six-piece Nuggets with any medium or large Hot & Crispy Fry purchase from Jan. 20-22.
• A free Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger with any medium or large Hot & Crispy Fry purchase from Jan. 23-29.
• BOGO medium or large Hot & Crispy Fry from Jan. 30-Feb. 6.

Of course, to access the deals, you need to download Wendy’s mobile app.

Although some other fast-food restaurants, ncluding Checkers and Rally’s, are celebrating Friday the 13^th with deals, the “holiday” has remained an unexploited one.

Even so, there are an average of 1.72 Friday the 13ths a year. This year, we will have two Friday the 13ths—the other is in October. There will also be two Friday the 13ths in 2024 and 2029 and three Friday the 13ths in 2026.
