Stagwell Reports 14% Growth For 2022

Stagwell Inc. reported record net revenue of $2.2 billion for full-year 2022, up 75%. Fourth quarter net revenue was $583 million, up 12%.

Like most of the other holding companies, growth dipped a bit in the fourth quarter versus the first three quarters of 2022. Organic net revenue growth (which excludes M&A and currency impact) in Q4 was 8% and full-year 2022 growth was 14%.

By comparison, WPP reported net organic growth for full-year 2022 of 6.9% while Omnicom Group reported 9.4% full-year growth, Interpublic, 7% and Publicis Groupe, 10%. Dentsu’s full-year organic growth was 4.1%.

Stagwell’s full-year net income was $66 million up from $36 million in 2021.

Net new business revenue for 2022 was $213 million.

Guidance for 2023 includes organic net revenue growth of 7.5% to 10%.
