Sterling Jackson has been named vice president of marketing for Aspire, an influencer-marketing platform for ecommerce brands.
Previously, Jackson worked as a VP, marketing for UserTesting. He built programs that helped drive nearly 12X growth over four years, resulting in an IPO and successful acquisition. Before that, Jackson served as head of customer Insights for Intuit, head of customer marketing for Qualtrics, and HP’s marketing chief of staff.
"Sterling brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the leadership team at Aspire as we continue to grow and evolve our platform capabilities," said Anand Kishore, CEO of Aspire. "Leveraging their world-class backgrounds in marketing, brand building, and customer success will be instrumental in driving our continued growth."
Jackson's remit is to oversee Aspire's brand innovation and market strategy.
In July 2022, the company formed a strategic partnership with TikTok, to help brands execute TikTok influencer-marketing campaigns. Aspire is a platform for 800+ Shopify merchants and ecommerce brands.
Jyri Kidwell, TikTok head of creative and creator partnerships, said at the time: “Our partnership with Aspire makes it easier for brands to tap into the collective power of our diverse community of creators and reach niche audiences with value-driven products and content.”
