Di5rupt, a UK-based B2B media network, has acquired What’s New In Publishing, a global information provider for the publishing industry. Terms were not disclosed. 

The goal is to offer “a comprehensive platform with multiple industry touchpoints throughout the year for our commercial partners to benefit from,” says Cobus Heyl, chief Operating Officer and Co-founder of Di5rupt.

Di5rupt, produces Media Makers Meet (Mx3 Berlin) and the FIPP World Media Congress under license from FIPP-Connecting Global Media, an industry association.

The acquisition and FIPP partnership reflect Di5rupt’s commitment to providing the media and media-tech industry” with a network, insights, services and connections, Heyl adds.
