Is Jesse Watters The New Tucker Carlson?

Two months after Fox News Channel showed Tucker Carlson the door, it has announced what ostensibly is a more permanent prime-time lineup, moving Jesse Watters into the 8 PM slot previously held by Carlson.

Sean Hannity remains in his 9 PM slot, but Laura Ingraham has been moved from 10 PM to 7 PM and Greg Gutfeld succeeds her at 10 PM.

Trace Gallagher’s “Fox News @ Night” moves into the 11 PM time period.

The changes, which are effective July 17, follow a stopgap schedule and a shaky period for Fox News following Carlson’s departure.

Carlson, meanwhile, continues his own stopgap strategy biding time as a vlogger on his Twitter account, although his former right-wing news site, The Daily Caller, has begun reposting Carlson’s shows on its YouTube channel, raising questions about where he will ultimately end up.

While Carlson is no longer involved with The Daily Caller, he was one of its founders, and is labeled that way in its YouTube channel.

Is the story that Watters is in Carlson's old spot or that Ingrham was demoted to the 7P time slot?
