GiftAMeal, a nationwide cause marketing program that works with restaurants to provide meals for local families in need, has announced its latest partnership with the Pizza Factory chain.
For each customer restaurant food photograph shared to the GiftAMeal app, GiftAMeal donates to a local food bank near that restaurant’s location to cover the cost of distributing one meal’s worth of healthy groceries to a neighborhood pantry. If customers also share their pics to social media, they can increase the contribution.
Other chains working with GiftAMeal include Chick-fil-A, TGI Fridays and Red Robin, as well as over 700 individual restaurants nationwide.
“GiftAMeal … fosters a sense of social responsibility to all who participate,” said Pizza Factory Chief Executive Officer MJ Riva. “We look forward to having a tangible impact within our communities and to those in need.”
