Coffee chains Tim Hortons and Caribou Coffee recently released their new fall menus, which had one thing in common: To the surprise of no one, they both contain plenty of pumpkin flavor options.
Beginning today, Tim Hortons will feature new fall beverage flavors as well as a seasonal muffin and donut. The limited-time items include Pumpkin Spice Iced Capp, Pumpkin Spice Donut, Pumpkin Spice Muffin, Maple Cinnamon Sugar Iced Latte, Spiced Apple Cranberry Refresher and Peach Refresher.
Customers using the chain’s Tim Rewards app customers can earn twice the points on their purchases from Aug. 30 to Sept. 26.
Tim Hortons has more than 5,100 locations in the United States and worldwide. and is also available packaged in major U.S. retailers.
Separately, Caribou Coffee announced that beginning Aug. 24, the chain is rolling out 15 different handcrafted fall pumpkin items, most actually containing pureed pumpkin.

Among the limited-edition drinks: the Pumpkin Espresso Shaker, with pumpkin purée and espresso shaken with ice and topped with a splash of oat milk; a Nitro Pumpkin Latte with Nitro cold press, milk, pumpkin purée and topped with espresso whipped cream; , and a Pumpkin Cooler, which is coffee blended with ice and pumpkin purée and topped with whipped cream and ground nutmeg.
Seasonal food items include a Pumpkin Cake Pop and a Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin.
Caribou Coffee, which has 750 coffeehouses nationwide, has also released a limited-time Pumpkin Love ground bagged coffee for retail. The medium roast 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee is only available at Target stores and on Target online during the holiday season.
