
The Altice-owned telecom brand
Optimum has named Jennifer Garrett chief marketing officer, effective Oct. 24.
Garrett will be responsible for strengthening and
differentiating the brand, including positioning and developing "an evolved brand platform," and creating campaigns to accelerate and sustain Optimum’s growth across business channels, according
to the company.
She will also lead the company’s acquisition, customer base management and retention lifecycle programs; efforts to enhance awareness of Optimum’s products
and services across marketing channels; and development of strategies to maximize loyalty, growth, retention and profitability.
She will report to Leroy Williams, Optimum's executive vice
president, chief growth officer, and be based in the company's Long Island City headquarters.

Garrett was previously head of marketing for Charter Communications' B2B division, Spectrum
Enterprise, overseeing program-driven marketing efforts and building an organizational culture focused on data-driven results and a client-first mindset, including responsibility for
Spectrum’s mobile marketing launch and approach as well as the direct marketing operation for the voice, video and data businesses.
Prior to Charter, Garrett spent over a decade at Cox
Communications in senior sales and marketing leadership roles, where she spearheaded the development of Cox’s digital transformation and drove overall growth for the company, according to
Altice.
