IHOP has announced a new online video marketing series featuring student athletes from across the country selecting their favorite pancake stacks from the chain.
Athletes and their “Fan Cakes” include: University of Alabama’s Jihaad Campbell’s Cinn-A-Stack; University of Colorado’s Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig’s Strawberry Banana Protein Pancake; the University of Florida’s Roderick Kearney’s Cinn-A-Stack; and Purdue University’s Devin Mockobee’s Chocolate Chocolate Chip Pancake.
The videos appear at ihop.com/fancakes. The selected pancakes will be featured on the IHOP.com menu at participating restaurants nationwide for purchase through Dec. 31.
The “Fan Cakes” video series came about through a partnership with Learfield, a media and technology company powering college athletics, and its branded content division Learfield Studios, which produced the video series. Opendorse, also a division of Learfield, sourced the student-athletes.

Separately, IHOP also announced its Fall Season combos and a new Kids Eat Free promotion. Beginning this week, through Nov. 26, ids 12 and under can eat free every day from 4 P.M.-10 P.M. with the purchase of an adult entrée.
That entrée could be one of IHOP’s November Turkey Specials, available for a limited time. These include a Homestyle Turkey & Stuffing Dinner, which consists of roasted turkey and gravy over cornbread stuffing, served with a choice of two dinner entrée sides.
