In a first-of-its-kind deal providing it with access to one of the world's biggest suppliers of stock images, videos and other creative assets, Omnicom has struck a generative AI licensing agreement with Getty Images.

The deal, which is part of an alpha test integrating the stock creative asset giant's new Generative AI by Getty Images platform into Omnicom's internal Omni AI-powered operating system, provides its agencies and clients with "commercially-safe and legally indemnified" access to generative AI creative assets.

With broad protection and usage rights, users can download and license any visual they generate, enabling Omnicom teams to move from ideas to outputs faster and without the impediment of licensing concerns.
