A new year means new QSR menus and locations.

 Menu Additions

Chick-fil-A launches a line of mango-flavored beverages beginning Jan. 8. – including Mango Passion Sunjoy, which combines the chain’s Sunjoy beverage (lemonade and iced tea) with mango and passion fruit flavors.  There’s also Mango Passion Lemonade, Mango Passion Iced Tea and Mango Passion Frosted Lemonade.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers debuts Grilled and Crispy Chicken Club Sandwiches and the limited-time only frozen Hot Chocolate Shake made with Ghirardelli chocolate.

PJ’s Coffee is celebrating Mardi Gras season with the recent addition of King Cake-themed beverages to its menu through Feb. 29. The new drinks include the King Cake Cold Brew Shaken Espresso, made up of cinnamon and vanilla cold brew espresso, and topped with a layer of chilled cream. The King Cake Latte contains Espresso Dolce frothed milk, cinnamon and vanilla flavors and is garnished with whipped cream and purple sprinkles.

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is commemorating Mardi Gras with “Every Tuesday is Fat Tuesday,” offering $5 menu items every Tuesday through Feb. 13. Lineup includes Beignet Bites served NOLA style (coated in powdered sugar and shaken in a paper bag); Doughnut Bread Pudding, made with Krispy Kreme doughnuts; Louisiana Kick Wings; and the Death Valley cocktail, containing Svedka vodka, Don Q Cristal rum, triple sec, Razzmatazz and orange and pineapple juices.

Locations

Chicken Salad Chick announced the arrival of its third location in the San Antonio, Texas area with a slew of special offers. For example, the first 100 guests at the grand opening on Jan. 17 will receive free chicken salad for a year, while the next 99 guests in line will receive one large Quick Chick of chicken salad per month for a year. Other premiums include a Chicken Salad Chick stainless steel water bottle and a Chicken Salad Chick canvas tote.

Stoner’s Pizza Joint announced the opening this week of its sixth location in South Carolina, in the city of Laurens.

Taco Bell will open a new location in Southern California, in Eastvale, on Jan. 9. The first 100 customers who make a purchase will receive an exclusive Taco Bell branded cup and a free taco coupon. From Jan. 9 to Jan. 16, customers who spend $20 on Taco Bell through Uber Eats or DoorDash will receive a $5 coupon.
